For many years the flat concrete tile most commonly known as the 'Modern' has been used on projects because of its resemblance to slate.
Things have moved on dramatically in recent years.
This is how Concrete Slates have changed
Redland introduced the first thin leading edge concrete tile called the 'Richmond'.
Marley followed suit with the 'Edgemere' and then Quinn Roof Tiles entered the U.K with their take on the concrete product called the 'Rathmore'.
All these products improved on the original 'Modern' with different looks, feels and textures.
The 'Rathmore' is a very competitively priced product available in grey.
The 'Devenish' from Quinn is in the same format as the 'Rathmore' but in black and with a rivened surface made to look like slate. It bears more than a passing resemblance to the Sandtoft 'Rivius'.
