Dry fixing basically means fixing without the use of mortar.
The story started way back in the late 80s when Marley introduced the first ever Dry Verge System.
It was a way of mechanically fixing the gable end without using mortar and like all dry fix systems it could be done whilst raining. From this many
companies copied and designed there own dry verge units with design faults of their own. There are many types available on the market today.
Once the dry verge unit was invented along came a dry ridge system. Marley and Redland came up with great systems, many of them still around today standing up to the great British climate.
We at FRRC are experts in this field.
The problems these products have faced over the years are due from the incorrect fitting and not the product failing. There are many products on the
market today some cheaper than others.
