Thrutone

Thrutone SlatesThe market leading Thrutone slates with their smooth finish and square cut edges offer the low profile slate look at a truly economic price. Couple Thrutone's superb aesthetics with their lightweight, low wastage, design flexibility and ease of installation and it's easy to see why they are the choice for all types of new build and refurbishment projects, including houses, flat-to-pitched roof conversions and challenging commercial projects.

Marley Eternit fibre cement slates are the only fibre cement slates manufactured in the UK so can therefore achieve an A+ (the lowest environmental impact) in the BRE's Green Guide to Specification.

Colours
Thrutone slates are available in Blue/Black. The slates will lighten after exposure to sunlight. Weathering will slowly affect the surface coating to expose the integrally coloured base material. This lightening is similar to that experienced with natural slate. Please refer to BS 5534 Section 5.6 for further details.

All of our Eternit fibre cement slates can achieve an 'A+' rating (the lowest environmental impact) in the Building Research Establishment's Green Guide to Specification.

Garsdale

Garsdale SlatesGarsdale slates feature a detailed textured surface and crisp square edge. Used in countless projects where an authentic textured look is important, their lightweight, versatility and ease of installation make them a favourite with both architects and contractors.

Birkdale SlatesBirkdale slates have a semi-matt finish and are particularly suited to retail, office and other developments where complex roof geometries are required. Their smooth flat surface and dressed edge offer a traditional and pleasing look to the roof. Birkdale is also particularly suitable for renovation work replacing natural slate.
