We are pleased to announce we are now stockists of Roto Roof Windows. 90% of Roto products are manufactured in Germany and the company has been established for over 5 decades. Some of you tradesmen may be familiar with the Roto name which has previously been distributed as Colt Roto, but this is not the same style that we can offer to you.
Here is a little background ......
For Roto to enter the UK market with their own sales team they had to be able to offer something as an alternative to the traditional centre pivot roof window. The outcome of this is the Series 7 Top Third Pivot roof window. The high pivot axis positioned in the top third of the frame allows for minimal protrusion of the sash into the roof space. You gain more headroom and the single handle positioned at the bottom of the sash ensures ease of use. In addition to all that certain sizes can be used as means of escape.
The Roto Roof Window has the following benefits:
- It takes only 10 screws to fix the window
- Pre-fitted brackets
- Outer sash cover pre-fitted, all you need to do it tighten it up after installation
- ZIE tile flashing takes minutes to fit
- 15 year guarantee
- Vapour barrier fitted at standard
- Window opens and closes on gas struts

After being invited myself to Germany in late November for 3 days I must say that I was amazed at their commitment to continuously improving their own products and systems. One gentleman's job was to clean and inspect the glass prior to it being made into the completed unit and he ran a machine at 99.2% efficiency.
